Johan Swinnen
Johan Swinnen is a professor of visual culture at the Vrije Universiteit in Brussels, at the Artesis University College in Antwerp, and at the Sorbonne Paris-III. He is also a senior lecturer at the South Asian Institute of Photography, Dhaka, and the Anton De Kom University of Suriname. He is an expert on Louis Strauven’s photography career.
