François de Coninck (1969) is author, artist, art publisher, independent curator and teacher. He has mounted numerous exhibitions in Belgium, both in public (Royal Museum for Central Africa, Cultural Centres of Hasselt and Namur, Centre d'art contemporain du Luxembourg belge, etc.) and private (art centres and galleries) venues.He writes texts for contemporary art centres, museums, artists, collectors, publishing houses, art galleries and auction houses - recent clients include the Royal Museums of Fine Arts in Brussels, the Boghossian Foundation and Maison Particulière in Brussels, Sotheby's and Christie's in Paris and the Marta Herford GcmbH in Germany. Since 2018, he has been a guest lecturer at ENSAV La Cambre where he is in charge of a multidisciplinary module for Master students entitled Art(s) and writing(s).
