
François de Coninck (1969) is an author, artist, publisher, independent curator and art school teacher. He founded Klet & Ko editions in 2006 – which he ran for ten years – and Anima Ludens editions in 2014, and has forged many collaborations with artists and writers. As a visual artist, he regularly exhibits his work in Belgium and abroad. As a curator, he has organised numerous exhibitions (recently at Sotheby's, CENTRALE for Contemporary Art and the Botanique in Brussels). He writes texts for museums, contemporary art centers, collectors, publishers, art galleries and auction houses - recent clients include BPS22 and the Photography Museum in Charleroi, the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, Le Botanique, the Boghossian Foundation in Brussels, Sotheby's and Christie's in Paris and Marta Herford GcmbH in Germany. Professor at ENSAV La Cambre, he co-directs the transdisciplinary art course Art(s) et écriture(s) for Master’s students. He also lectures at other art schools, including the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Brussels.
